Brooklyn Master Studio FAQ
What makes the Brooklyn Master Studio ideal for high-end productions?
This is one of the largest and most versatile kitchen studios in the AMC catalog. With over 3,600 square feet of open, shoot-ready space, it combines a functional kitchen setup with the flexibility of a full-scale soundstage. It is designed for productions that require both visual polish and room to build.
What is the size of the kitchen area, and what features does it include?
The kitchen occupies a significant portion of the studio and features a modern center island, stainless steel appliances, a working gas stove, and plenty of counter space. It is built for authentic cooking and staging, but also designed to look great on camera.
Can the studio be used for more than just cooking shows?
Absolutely. In addition to food content, this space is perfect for commercials, brand shoots, long-form streaming content, interviews, and live events. Its open layout makes it easy to transform depending on your production’s needs.
Is this a soundstage or a daylight studio?
It functions as a hybrid space. While not fully soundproofed like a traditional stage, it is quiet enough for most shoots and includes options for sound treatment. Natural light is available through large windows, but the studio can also be blacked out for complete lighting control.
What kind of lighting support is available?
The studio has high ceilings and is equipped with rigging points for custom lighting setups. You can bring in your lighting or coordinate with AMC’s gear partners to outfit the space exactly how you want it. The open space also accommodates large modifiers and backdrops.
Does the studio include any client or crew amenities?
Yes. There are lounge areas, green rooms, a wardrobe and HMU section, production office space, and dedicated restrooms. Wi-Fi is included, and the space can comfortably accommodate video village and client monitor setups.
How does this space compare to other Brooklyn kitchens?
The Brooklyn Master Studio offers significantly more floor space and versatility than smaller locations, such as Kitchen 2 or Chelsea West. It is the best choice when you need both a kitchen and a large, customizable shooting area in one place.
Is there load-in access and parking available?
Yes. The studio features a private freight elevator and a wide loading dock, making gear transport simple. Street and garage parking options are nearby, and the building has easy access for vans and trucks.
Can the space be rented for multiple days or extended builds?
Yes. This studio is often used for multi-day shoots, long-form projects, or content that requires pre-lighting and extended setup time. Discounts or custom pricing may be available for bookings of 30 days or longer.
How do I reserve the Brooklyn Master Studio?
Use the contact form on the studio’s page to request a quote or tour. Be sure to include the shoot date, type of production, and any special requirements. The AMC team will respond with availability, rates, and optional support services such as crew, lighting, or equipment rental.
